Skin Rejuvenation

Skin rejuvenation can be done in lots of different ways the first one is thermal rejuvenation using a radio frequency device to induce a thermal effect in the affected skin. Another way is to have photo rejuvenation with light pulses from lasers or lamps, this will stimulate the skin and make it look better. If you are able to contact us and we can start discussing the possible treatments and what is best for you and your skin.

How does LED Phototherapy work?

As we age, the skin’s ability to renew itself becomes more difficult. Our skin has the ability to absorb light and use it as a source of energy to stimulate natural cell processes which in turn can drastically improve problem skin conditions or wounds and trauma.

LED Phototherapy uses specific wavelengths of light to recharge these cells, energising them to heal quicker and rejuvenate faster.

How safe is the treatment?

LED Phototherapy is one of the safest way to treat all skin types as it does not use heat or chemicals and the light does not contain harmful UV wavelengths.

Is Dermalux™ safe for darker skin types?

Yes. Dermalux can be used safely to treat all skin types, from skin type I (white) on the Fitzpatrick scale to skin types VI (black).

Will the results be seen straight away?

Yes. The visible effects are immediate. Dermalux™ instantly awakens a tired and dull complexion. After just one treatment skin is incredibly hydrated, plump and radiant and redness and irritation is calmed. For skin conditions like acne, eczema or rosacea, a course of treatment is recommended for corrective and lasting improvement in the appearance and health of the skin.

How many treatments are needed?

This will vary depending on the age, skin type and condition. With LED phototherapy the results are cumulative and improvement will continue even after the treatment has stopped. Treatments taken in quick succession will achieve optimum results and maintenance treatments may also be recommended.
